ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Christine Timmerman, a registered nurse with over 34 years of experience serving the Grey Bruce community. I have worked at Brightshores Health System and several long-term care homes, always driven by a passion for care, comfort, and helping others.
I am now offering specialized foot care services, including assessment, corn and callus removal, treatment for ingrown nails and fungus, and basic nail trimming. My new clinic is open now in Wiarton, and I look forward to supporting the health and comfort of our community—one step at a time.

SYMPTOMS
Ingrown Toe Nail Symptoms
Contact us when you notice redness, swelling, or tenderness around your toenail, especially if it feels like the nail is digging into the skin. If it becomes hard to walk, wear shoes, or you see any signs of potential infection such as increased warmth, discomfort, pus or drainage with a bad smell, don't wait. We can safely treat your ingrown toenail, minimize pain and discomfort and help ease your symptoms.

Callus Symptoms
Calluses are thickened, hardened areas of skin that develop from repeated pressure or friction on the feet. Common signs include rough, dry, or raised skin, a yellowish or grayish color, and areas that may feel stiff or uncomfortable when walking. While usually painless, calluses can become sore or crack if neglected. Contact us if you notice these symptoms, as professional footcare can safely reduce calluses and relieve discomfort.

Foot and Nail Fungus Symptoms
Foot and nail fungus is a common condition caused by a fungal infection, often affecting toenails and the skin of the feet. Symptoms can include thickened, discolored, or brittle nails, itching, peeling, redness, or a foul odor. If left untreated, it can spread and cause discomfort or pain when walking. Professional consistent footcare can help to treat fungal infections, and minimize spread.

Diabetic Foot Symptoms
Diabetic foot problems can occur when high blood sugar affects circulation and nerve sensation in the feet. Signs to watch for include slow-healing sores, redness, swelling, numbness, tingling, or changes in skin color. Even minor injuries can become serious if not treated promptly. Contact us if you notice any of these symptoms. Professional footcare can help manage and prevent complications, protect your feet, and maintain overall foot health.
